I have spent the last seven years running operations and building systems at Maticus Media 360, the marketing company behind this consulting practice. Before that, I spent five years in HR and training, watching capable people burn out on work that better systems should have handled.

That is the pattern I kept seeing. Owners working twelve-hour days not because the business demanded it, but because nobody had ever stopped to fix how the work moved. The effort was never the problem. The system was.
